THE REGISTER · PRIVACY
This policy explains how Fine Line Tattoo Courses Australia handles the personal information you give us through finelinetattoocourses.com.au, mainly when you send a course enquiry. It covers what we collect, why we collect it, where it’s kept, how cookies are used, and how to ask to see or correct your details. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
i
COLLECTION
We only collect personal information you choose to give us. Browsing the course pages, Training Resources or the Student Work gallery doesn’t require you to tell us who you are.
Contact details: your name, email address and, if you provide it, your phone number.
Enquiry details: the subject of your enquiry, your location, the course you’re interested in, and any budget or timeframe you choose to share.
Your message: anything you write to us, such as how much tattooing experience you have or questions about a course.
Technical information: the limited data a website needs to work, such as the cookies described below.
Please don’t include sensitive information, such as health details, in an enquiry unless you need to raise it for your training. If you do share it, we’ll only use it for the reason you gave it to us.
ii
USE
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, give you information about the course you asked about, and handle enrolment if you decide to go ahead. We don’t sell your personal information. We also don’t add you to marketing lists or pass your details to other marketing services automatically.
STORAGE
When you submit the form, your enquiry is stored privately in the website’s own system. Only people who manage enquiries for the academy can see it. The website doesn’t take payments, so we don’t collect card or banking details online.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. When we no longer need an enquiry for the purpose it was sent, we take reasonable steps to delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Cookies are small files your browser saves. Our website uses the cookies it needs to load pages properly, keep things secure and handle form submissions. These cookies don’t tell us who you are.
If we use analytics to see how people move around the site, such as which course pages or Training Resources get read, we look at the data as totals and use it only to improve the website. We don’t use it to identify individual visitors.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, including the enquiry form, might not work properly if you do.
