What the training covers in practice

Fine line work depends on the tools as much as the hand. Three entries sit close together:

i. Tattoo Machine Training

ii. Needle & Technique Training

iii. Line Work Training

IV

Skills you learn

The courses work across the same core skill areas. Each one is practised at the workstation and connects to a dedicated course.

SKILL AREA — COURSE

Design and composition — Fine Line Tattoo Design

Line control — Line Work Training

Machine setup — Tattoo Machine Training

Needle choice — Needle & Technique Training

Hygiene and infection control — Tattoo Hygiene & Safety Training

The trainer approach

Training is built on fundamentals first: a clean station, controlled lines and careful design before style. Trainers demonstrate, watch your hand and give precise corrections as you practise. Read more about our trainers and how they teach and the academy’s training philosophy.

Before you enquire

A few practical questions worth thinking through before choosing a course.

Do I need tattoo experience to start?

Not for an entry-level course. The Beginner Fine Line Tattoo Course is built for people new to fine line tattooing. If you already tattoo, look at the Advanced course.

Should I bring drawings with me?

Sketchbook pages, even rough ones, help a trainer see how you think about line and spacing. It is useful context when you make an enquiry.

Why does hygiene training matter so early?

Safe practice underpins every tattoo you will ever do. Tattoo Hygiene & Safety Training covers infection control and safe studio habits.

Where do I find details on dates and costs?

Ask directly through the Enquire / Enrol page and the team will reply with current course details. More answers are on the FAQ page.
